    HAPPY NEW YEAR!! As a new year has come, I thought I would take some pictures of myself. It's been awhile since I have had self taken photos. Firstly because I end up hating the pictures I take of myself, and I look hideous, but since it's the new year,( and because I got motivated by Whip My Hair by Willow Smith - don't judge), I thought I might give it a try ( and yes I know.. it's only one outfit). I also think, people might not know what I look like anymore, they might know me by blog, but not by face. Hopefully I will try to incorporate more self taken photos this year! But most of all... I will hopefully get some models to test shoot! ...It's so much better than self taken ones.. I just hope these pictures won't scare people away from reading my blog.

MODEL INTERVIEW + VIDEO DIARY : ALEXANDRE CUNHA




    Alexandre (Alex) Cunha, 23 years old, is probably one of the best known brazillian male models of his age in the fashion industry. His build is not too big but yet not too small, which is why I think keeps him versatile in the industry. He's walked for a huge variety of runway shows, from Louis Vuitton to Tommy Hilfiger to John Galliano to Vivienne Westwood. His face I guess we could say is one of a classic, which is again perhaps why he's so popular. He's most probably known for his abs, smile, eyes and his lips ( I reckon his lips, you'd understand when you watch the video below, you don't even have to see his face to know it's him). I have found his jobs consistent with new editorials, pictures keep coming up which is likely due to his huge agency list he is with.

    Interviewing him, I found that when he was a kid, he was fat. It's rather hard to believe isn't it? I mean look at him now! haha. Starting modeling at the age of 17 in 2004, he has only grown from there, and I'm looking forward to seeing his continuous progress!

    I really think he is a humble and cool person, always striving to do his best.
    I'm so glad he took time in doing this interview and video for BOY MOMENTS, which I edited with his requested song - Dancing Shoes by Arctic Monkeys

DONNY GALELLA + BESPOKE PR CHRISTMAS PARTY

























    Tuesday night was a long but relaxing day for me. Donny and the Bespoke PR team held their Christmas Party for friends and family at Gotham. It was a great environment ( as previously seen from the Antoine+Stanley AW 10 Launch) that gave a close an intimate feel. It was great, wasn't too crowded which really allowed everyone to catch up with each other.

    We looked back at 2010's sweat and hard work from slide show pictures of Donny and the Bespoke team's work on LCD. Everyone was dressed pretty and were to wear a dash of red.

    You could not miss Donny that night, with his red blazer (I think that a blazer paired with shorts is his signature). He was like the young, 100 times better looking version of Santa. I mean, he is, isn't he? The only thing that's different with him and Santa is that, he's helping people fulfill dream looks all year round.

    There were lots of food for everybody and my favourite, small gelato cones from Gelatissimo! Yummyyyy!

    Everyone went home with a gift bag which included a Galella shirt by Donny, Jacob's Creek Chardonnay and some chocolate.

    I think I have an obsession with long haired, androgynous look. I like the simplicity of these pictures. He seems like Jesus, in the first pic.

GIDEON SHOES BY RUPERT & MATT NOFFS




    New and funky, Gideon Shoes by brothers, Rupert and Matt Noffs (of the Noffs Foundation - pictured above) just launched today at their heritage-listed, church, with a luncheon!

    A little bit about the shoe label background - They set the shoe label up to raise money for the Noffs Foundation Street University which is the largest drop-in centre in Australia's. Their shoes, costs from $165 to $450 a pair and all the money goes towards the Noffs Foundation. They are currently available through their website - www.gideon.com.au and are looking into entering high end department stores as they further grow.

    Their shoes are cool and fun. One of the most interesting things about the unisex sneakers are, that they are made from cane toads hide ( that's right.. cane toads!), cow and kangaroo leather.

    You got to hear this, all the shoes are fully Australian manufactured and in Sydney! They are totally against the exploitation of factory employees and child labour in those sweatshops, which is great for those ethical consumers.

    No doubt it will be huge, already with their cane toad signature and being 100% Aussie made. PLUS, they just got signed with People's Revolution, and we all know what that means! - KELLY CUTRONE = GLOBAL + SUCCESS. Gotta love her!

    My favourite shoe here is probably the first picture, with the three coloured rainbow cane toad hide. Black with a spice of colour. mmmm!

    Was great to meet Rupert at the Porsche Design Launch too!
