HELMET MAGAZINE | LAUNCH #2 ISSUE

Last Thursday after the Ode To No One Launch, I went to Helmet Magazine's Launch of their second issue at the Sydney Tropical Centre in The Royal Botanic Gardens, an amazing venue with a glass pyramid surrounded by flora.

You may not have heard of Helmet, but it's the newest mag on the block! When I picked up the magazine, I was so overwhelmed not only by it's unexpected weight, but the fact there was two covers! It was actually about half an inch thick and quite heavy, almost like a paper back book but a extended length A4 size shape.

The magazine is operated by young bright creatives from Sydney and Melbourne, that found magazines like theirs was lacking. It has a mixture of content, full of editorials, pictures, drawings, paintings, articles and lots more, covering music, fashion, film, and art.

I was extremely fashionably late (plus the fact we kind of got lost) with Dana, Emily and Xiaohan, so you can see my limited images of the night.

Check out their site - here for more info.
