The second show to follow in the Group Show on Day 1 was Garth Cook. The Perth born, fine jewelery turned fashion designer debuted his label to Australia last year at RAFW New Gen Show. Since starting his label in 2009, he has won the ‘Absolut Emerging Designer’ award at Style Aid
He presented his Spring/Summer 2011/12 collection titled "Nouveau Clone" which sees his movement into some colour with magenta dye. The collection was entirely constructed of silk with sheers and continuing his architectural style, carrying on his love of strong geometric shapes through the addition of digital print.
I just love the digital print in the first image. Those pants and that shirt I would totally wear!
