MEANDHER SPRING 2011 | BEHIND THE SCENES

A few months ago, I was at the shoot of quite a new Sydney shoe label, Meandher. Designer, Emily Cooper creates a range of classic men's footwear with mixture of boots, boat shoes and low cuts, using canvas and leather, in colours of ice grey, wheat, navy and bone. This is her second range since launching recently and continues to keep Meandher's unique signature markings of xx-stitch and red heel caps.

For this season, she collabs with Sydney photographer, Tobias Rowles, which creates a relaxed outdoor studio campaign, setting the mood for this collection
featured throughout the collection. It gives a very community feel, with ordinary guys reflecting the wearer.

Cooper is all about the hands-on approach, from design to manufacture, ensuring the brands commitment to consistency, quality and comfort is delivered. Meandher shoes are available online at www.meandher.com.au and from selected boutiques nationally with price ranging between $190 - $250 AUD. The Spring/Summer 2011 range will be available at the end of July.
