THE ULTIMAT VODKA LAUNCH PARTY | THE ULTIMAT CLUB | HOSTED BY VOGUE & GQ

On Wednesday night, I attended with my friend Chloe, to The Ultimat Party, launching Ultimat Vodka (the only vodka that is triple distilled in Poland, that also combines the blend of three different vodkas - potato, wheat and rye) in Australia. Luxe Studios was transformed into The Ultimat Club for the night. To celebrate this premium luxury brand, Vogue and GQ came together for the first time ever to host an event!

On the night, models (including young new Australian, international male model stars - Jordan Coulter and Jack Vanderhart) showcased the latest collection from Bally in a presentation setting and also had a projection from the latest runways. A variety of eastern gourmet canapes, including dumplings, pecking duck wraps and coconut custard from MissChu perfectly complimented a range of Ultimat cocktails which were served, including a signature drink with lychee, spiced apple and Ultimat vodka. One of most fun things on the night was the photo booth (Polite in Public) that printed instant postcard size photos. This is the second event I've been to with a photobooth, I think it's great idea and serves as a nice souvenir and memory of the event.

The elite guest list included world famous and icon in the male modelling industry, Tyson Ballou, who was brought to Sydney to celebrate the 10th anniversary of AQUAPOWER by Biotherm Homme and will also appear in GQ. I have to say, I've always been a huge fan and follower of Tyson's work and meeting him in the flesh was, lets say... breath taking.. plus the fact he is 34 and doesn't look it! Also attending was one of Australia's most successful models, Jessica Gomes, who I had a chance to briefly chat with, shot for Vogue Australia's September issue the morning of the event and flew out to Korea the following day.

After speeches by Nick Smith (editor of GQ) and thanking sponsors - Ultimat Vodka, Bally fashion and accessories, Biotherm, Kerastase Paris hair and Lancome make up, music pumped and the party started with DJ Alex Quiddington, as well as one of Sydney's favourites DJ Shipwreck spinning the decks. Everyone left with a lovely Bally gift bag filled with goodies.

On the night, I wore shirt by Donny Galella, black pants and jacket by Saxony. Chloe wore black Quebec Dress by Nookie (buy here!)
